How to Allocate a New Address for AWS Certified

If you are an AWS certified SEO expert, you may want to allocate a new address for your website or application. A new address can help you improve your ranking, performance, and security. In this article, we will show you how to allocate a new address using the AWS Management Console.

Step 1: Log in to the AWS Management Console
To start, you need to log in to the AWS Management Console with your credentials. If you don’t have an account yet, you can sign up for free here.

Step 2: Navigate to the EC2 Dashboard
Once you are logged in, you need to navigate to the EC2 Dashboard. You can do this by clicking on the Services menu at the top and selecting EC2.

Step 3: Select Elastic IPs
On the EC2 Dashboard, you need to select Elastic IPs from the left sidebar. Elastic IPs are static IP addresses that you can associate with your instances. They allow you to have a fixed and public IP address for your website or application.

Step 4: Click on Allocate Elastic IP Address
On the Elastic IPs page, you need to click on the Allocate Elastic IP Address button at the top. This will open a new window where you can configure your new address.

Step 5: Choose Your Allocation Method
On the Allocate Elastic IP Address window, you need to choose your allocation method. You have two options:

Amazon’s pool of IPv4 addresses: This option will assign you a random IPv4 address from Amazon’s pool. This is the default and recommended option.
Your own pool of IPv4 addresses: This option will allow you to use your own IPv4 address that you have brought to AWS. You need to have a BYOIP (Bring Your Own IP) pool registered with AWS to use this option.
For this tutorial, we will choose the first option.

Step 6: Click on Allocate
After choosing your allocation method, you need to click on the Allocate button at the bottom. This will create your new Elastic IP address and display it on the screen.

Step 7: Associate Your Elastic IP Address with Your Instance
The final step is to associate your new Elastic IP address with your instance. You can do this by selecting your Elastic IP address from the list and clicking on the Actions menu at the top. Then, choose Associate Elastic IP Address from the dropdown menu.

This will open a new window where you can select your instance from a list or enter its ID. You can also choose whether to allow reassociation or not. Reassociation means that you can change the instance that is associated with your Elastic IP address without releasing it.

After selecting your instance and choosing your reassociation option, click on Associate at the bottom. This will attach your new Elastic IP address to your instance and make it accessible from the internet.

Congratulations! You have successfully allocated a new address for AWS certified SEO optimization. You can now use this address to optimize your website or application for better ranking, performance, and security.
